Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours flexible to meet referral needs
Location: We‘re looking for someone to build a caseload in Dauphin and York-Adams Counties. Must be willing to work in these Counties.

Responsibilities:
Here’s what to expect as a Physical Therapist:
Assist in developing outcomes, strategies, and data collection methods based on the child’s Evaluation Report (ER) and Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Ensure the identification, development, and implementation of physical therapy activities to meet the needs of the family and child in accordance with the child’s IFSP.
Assess on an ongoing basis the functional skills of the child in gross motor skills to include: development of major motor components of pre-ambulation, gait analysis, assessment of balance and equilibrium reactions, and evaluation of the need for adaptive seating, positioning equipment, and orthotic needs.
Provide families with individual session notes that include the outcome, strategies used, recommendations, and plans for the next session.
Provide updates and information for quarterly reviews and annual evaluations in accordance with county guidelines to allow for adequate planning when determining the child’s continued eligibility.
Provide support and feedback to families/caregivers with suggestions and strategies to assist their child in achieving their IFSP goal.
Fulfill transportation requirements to complete home visits and community-based therapy sessions.
Develop and implement new policies and/or procedures within the functional area to support the continuous improvement of operational effectiveness and efficiency.
Maintain current mandated paperwork to include: State license, Child abuse clearance, State Police clearance, FBI clearance, 24 hours of training for Early Intervention, and any pertinent certifications related to your license/expertise.
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements as a Physical Therapist:
Bachelor’s degree within a related discipline expected and 2 to 5 years of learning experience
Or Master’s degree within a related discipline and 0 to 2 years of learning experience
PA State licensure in Physical Therapy or eligible for licensure
Eligible for PA Promise Enrollment
Not on CMS Exclusion List
A valid driver’s license and 6 months of previous driving experience
Access to vehicle with valid insurance, registration, and inspection
Ability to communicate, read, write, and interpret English
Preferred, but not required:
Knowledge of adaptive seating and positioning for children
